The Kintail Loft,. located on Highway 21, in
Ashfield Township, was the former residence of Jim
and TTrrie Van Osch. Jim and, his dad had taken the
bare attic above t ib former Kintail'. General Store
(operated by Bill and Ann from 1966-78) and turned
it into a home for the young couple in 1990.
When Jim's parents moved to Goderich, he and
Thrrie moved into the .larger house portion, and Jim
took over the Voortman cookie distributorship from
his dad.•'
Terrie describes. herself as "a people person."
Haring chosen to be at home with their four young
children - Rachel, Tom, Lisa and Paul, the best of
both would be her's by utilizing the vast space in their
home. Thus the decision to open a bed and breakfast.
The Kintajil Loft offers one bedroom with twirl

St. Joseph's Health
Centre in London and
Wingham and District
Hospital have entered
into a new, three -year -
partnership for the provi-
sion of materials man-
agement services.
:St:'. osepb's now wilt;
provide the focal hospital
with a "stockless inven-
tory" program, purchas-
ing services and contract
management.
Staff from Wingham
and District 'Hospital'
spent time on June 12
training in central stores
at St. Joseph's to become
familiar with the comput-
erized materials manage-
ment system that will be
used in the new process.
As time progresses, St.
Joseph's also may .pro-
vide advice in other areas
of supportservices, such
as central processing,
environmental services,
biomedical engineering,
audio-visual graphics, and
printing services.
This agreement is part
of a continuing process
of strengthening the affil-
iation between St.
Joseph's and Wingham
and District Hospital,
says . WDH Executive
Director Lloyd Koch. In
fact, this is the second
phase of a process which
saw laboratory services
moved to St. Joseph's
last year.,
It also has replaced
Wingham's director of
