Last lot ery
r
oil Saturday night
by Pat Livingston
If you thought this past year has slipped on by in
a flurry, you're right!
It was just one year ago we were writing about the
countdown being on for the first lottery draw for
Phase 11 of. the Lucknow and District Sports
Complex and encouraging people to purchase one of
those $100 tickets. Holders of the tickets bad 151
chances to win.
Well folks, 150 of those chances are now history.
We've got one last chance and that takes place
Saturday night at the "Last Chance Dance" when
some ticket holder will win $10,000.
The dance will be held on the 'arena floor with
music by Left Turn Clyde. Tickets are $5 each and of
course any proceeds will go towards paying off the
sports complex debt. That .debt by the way stands at
$41,000 after the GST rebate. How's that for com-
munity effort in reducing its portion of a $1.8 million
commitment?
'dere are a ,few 'of the. $100 tickets `available if
you're 'willing ` to take `tie chance. Contact ' Dave
Black or John Pollard,
Andy Burgess has the honor of making someone
happy and .will do so at 11 p.m.' this Saturday night.
