Thompson was b®rn in Lucknow ••on Jan. 22, 1906; the second in a family 9f eight of Robert H. and Isabella (Campbell) Thompson. She leaves to mourn her passing a sister,. Mrs. William (Frances) Hewat of Abbotsford, B.C., a brother Robert Thompson of Windsor, and sisters-in- law Edith Thompson of Windsor, Margaret Thompson and Arnetta Thompson, both of Lucknow; 12 nieces, and nephews; 22 great nieces and nephews; ` andsix great great nieces and nephews. Miss Thompson was prede- ceased by her parents; two sisters Donalda .Thompson and Mrs. Price (Norma) Naylor; and three brothers, Willard, Campbell and Harold Thompson. Visitation was at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow, where Rev.' Miss Thompson was an elemen- tary school teacher for 45 years. She attended Stratford Normal school and accepted her first teaching •position in 1925 at SS # 4 Greenock Township. for one year., This was, followed by, five years. at S,S. # 3, on Conc. 10 Kinloss Township; 22 years at Hanover 'Public School and 17 'years at Lucknow public School.
