The June 4 meeting of the Lueknow Presbyterian
WMS was a picnic pot luck at the chh.
Donalda Moffat opened the program with the call
and read "On, the wings of prayer." Manche Fisher
gave the devotions, and the meditation '66Who wants
to be Ignored?" She closed 'with
th the poem
"Tomorrow's Opportunity" and PraYTi•
The program was composed of great varietynum-
bers - some serious and come comical, ,a ;solo, a guar -
tett ,singa. song, and Maudie Fisher read an essay
shehad written, while attending •Mission Band, on
Caroline MacDonald, a missionary from Wingham
who had spent many years in Japan.
The Presbyterial bus trip will be Sept. 17. Get in
touch with Norma Baynard soon. It was decided to
pay the cost for the Sunday School pupils attending
the Children's Bally at Kintail again this year.

Johnston on Thursday.
The funeral was herd on Saturday in London with
burial, en Sunday afternoon at "Greenhill Cemetery,

�` Mrs. Johnston was the former Jean Guest, and
• Stanley' was ' a. son of the late Mr., and Mrs. John
Johnston of Conc. 10, Kinloss.

Secretary Joan Murray began the program witha

contest, and spoke on the Roots of Bruce which was
,held for Grade 6 students of , Bruce County. Books of
information were passed around Mrs. Murray also

Betty Bushell -conducted a flower contest and had a
quiz and some jokes.
