No surplus teachers yet -
The 429 elementary teachers in the
Bruce County Board of education can
draw a sigb of relief, at lost for now.
At a special meeting on Apr. 9, the
board announced it won't declare any
jobs surplus "at this time."
Instead, the board will send each
teacher "an tirgent letter" explaining its
staffing and financial dilemma, and
asking for co-operation in finding solu-
tions.
