Michelle Hansen, the shelter's executive director, says the board of directors decided last month topay the yearly fee to put the shelter online. The Huron County shelter is the first in Ontario to go on the Internet. The board uses `Odyssey, an Internet server whose main office is in London but which has a ' local branch, or 'node', in Clinton. Odyssey has offered to host the home page, so the shelter will not have to pay for it, , Hansen adds. . Local resident Paul Wheeler offered his time and expertise to set up the site.
