The Huron Bruce Swingers ,square dance club celebrat-
ed Robbie Burns night in traditional fashion, although the
lake affect weather forced the celebration to be a week
late.
On.Jan. 31, the club gathered at Brookside school.
Club& taller, Neva McVittie, suitably dressed in her kilt,
kept evetybotly on their toes dancing up a storm and ban-
ishing all thoughts of the winter chill.
Resident piper Archie Purdon, regaled in full Scottish
attire, entertained with several selections on the bagpipes.
Neva and her husband, Duncan, derrionstrated the "Gay
Gordon!! and before long had severahnerribets'participat-

ing in this traditional Scottish dance.
• The evening ended with a Meal of haggis, Scones, sal-
ads, oatmeal and shortbread cookies.
