A meeting of the Si.' Helen's
Women's. Institute was held on
November 5, at 'the. St. Helen's
Hall. As it was a dessert meeting, it
began at 1 p.m. with the hostesses,
Isabel Gaunt and Florence McCon-
nell, serving cake and ice cream.
President Elaine Errington then
opened . the : meeting with a
humorous Tittle story. The Institute
Ode and 'Mary Stewart Collect
followed.
The rollcall, a product of Canada

portant. In another reading, startling
statistics were given on the amount
of garbage produced in Huron
county alone. It is our personal
responsibility to buy products with
less waste packaging. .
