Pat Everson of 651 Outram. Street
has moved to Northern Ontario and
has rented her house to Al Doiron,
who had been living in an
apartment.
Danny Landry . purchased the
Cooper house on Inglis Street and

John Duncan Parrish of Goderiph
died ..at Alexandra Marine and
General"Hospital on Tuesday, July
31; 1990 at the age of 66, He was a
retired farmer of Ashfield Twp.,
was a member of the Presbyterian
Chinch and was also -a member of
Old Eight Lodge #184 A.F. & A.M.
Mr. Fairish was born in Ashfield
Twp. on Aug. 15;1923, He was the
son of the late Kenneth Fairish and
Florence MacDonald.
He -is survived by his wife Mar-
garet (Johnston). Surviving children
are Ken and his wife Carol of Oak-
vine- and Favid and his wife
Roxanne of Moncton N.B.
Mr. Fairish is survived by two
'sisters . Margaret Mackenzie and
Sadie (Mrs. Alvin Gilders) both of
Goderich. Surviving brothers are
Bill. of Ashfield Twp.; and Doug of
London. He is also Survived by
three grandchildren Jahn, Andrew
and Mark.
He was predeceased by one sister
Murial and one brother James.
A funeral, services, was held at
McCallum and Palla Funeral Home

The Blyth Festival's Annual
Gourmet Dinner will be held on.
Saturday, August 11, at 6 p.m. at
the Blyth Community Centre. Al-
ways a gourmet treat - the best of
country cooking and Huron County
savory produce will be served at
this operating fund raising event
which is prepared -by the theatre's
Board of Directors and enthusiastic
volunteers.
Featured on the menu are suc-
culent appetizers: bacon wrapped
chestnuts, .salami stuffed with
pineapple cream cheese, salmon
quiche, and the best ceasar salad
you've ever tasted! For the main
course, you can select from a menu
of juicy _roast beef or fresh baked
salmon with corn on the cob,
stuffed tomatoes, marinated carrot
salad and steaming home-made tea
biscuits. Mouth-watering desserts
include raspberry pie, tangy lemon
meringue pie, fresh fruit and
cheeses along with tea and coffee.
Organizers of this yeat's event are
Board members Helen Gowing and
Gayle Waters as well as a -host of
volunteers from the Board of Direc-
tors, and Friends of Blyth. Tickets
for this special fund-raising event
are $20.00 with all proceeds
donated to ' the Blyth Festival
