On the first cut we had only 15 giris left, then after the second cut and lots of hardwork we were down to 11. Our in- ' eludes Carrisaa Redford, Tracy LeBreton, Tracy Visor, Julie Carter, Tina Jewson, Kristen. O'Neil, Angela Cranston Dawne Rhody, Heather Askes and Kelly Stevenson. After a lot of practise we played our• first game against the guys, of course we didn't give them much canpetition bit we gave them enough. They likely beat us but no one was keeping score. Our second big game was on April 6 playing Teeswater.girls down 14-0 we came back 16-14 but'Teeswater beat us by 4 baskets 40-52 a good game on both sides. , Our two coaches who have been ' pushing us to work hard and do our. best are Mr. McKeon, our school's grade eight teacher and Sharon Askes, a high school student. They are doing a great job, and we thank them for taking their time to teach us and make such a great team. , We hope to do well in the tournaztient this year. • The Mystery of the Missing Cat!! Chad Sellers, Gr. 3 Once upon :a time there was a family with one son. His none was William. He lived . with his parents. They had 13 cats. One day they sold all the cats except one. It' was white with a black head. One day the cat was missing. William was the first to notice. He asked his mon where the cat was. She didn't know and she didn't care: The next day he saw his girlfriend with the same cat. He asked her where she got It. She didn't say anything. William went on a search. He found some cat tracks in his back yard. He looked over in some brushes and he found his cat and two little kittens.
