Hall with five tables playing. The 'lucky

The next euchre will be Mar. 5 at 2 p.m.

A series of fund raising events to cover
the . cost of the renovations is being held.
The •first event took place in the form of
a 'Valentine Dine and Dance party. •
The hall was gaily decorated in a Valen-
tine theme. The catering committee of
John and Joyce Farrell, Roy and Maureen
Collins, Francis and Irene Boyle served .a
turkey meal •to about 70 people.
Following, the meal,. Sam and Heather
Finnie acted as disc jockeys for an even-
ing , of dance mixers, round, square and
novelty dancing. .
A "know your mate" contest was en-
joyed by the five participating couples as •
well as the onlookers:
The next meal 'with proceeds going to
the renovation fund will' bin Mara 17 at
the centre. A family, "touch of Ireland" Is
being planned by Cecil and Wilma Sutton,
Stewart and Margaret Lane. v
