Lucknow down- ed Port Elgin three games straight with scores of 6 - 2, 15 - 3 and 6 - 3. 'Donnie Cuillerier netted .himself four gads in the lli - 3 game, with two each for Cris Stevenson and 'Juitin- Murray. One goal each was claimed by Scott Rin- • toul, Matt Sproul, Clint. Murray, Matt Drennan, Dwayne Porter, Rob Crick and Brad Rhody. Justin Murray received eight assists in this game with four go- ing to Stevenson. Vince Sticidend chalk- ed up three assists along with Darryl Gibson, Scott Rintoul, Donnie Cuillerier, Rob Crich and Dwayne 'Porter with one each. This game was riddled with penalties as was the next game, Lucknow played the last game with three men on for much of the game, but still came up with a win. Darryl Gibson netted the firstgoal for Lucknow on a pass from Justin Murray, assisted by Chi* Stevenson, who netted the second on a pass from Murray again. The two teams square off again tonight (Wednesday) for an 6:30 start in Lucknow and travel to Ripley Friday evening. Novice B's sweep series On Saturday February 10, Lucknow Novice B played host to Belmore. Although Lucknow's goelle Jordan. An- drew, kept the game close the first two Periods, Belmore was able to score five unanswered goals in the third to take home a 6-0 score. On Friday night, Mildmay came to Luclmow for the first game of the play- off& Lucknow took control and scored hi the first minute of Way when Sean Lougheed shot the puck into Mildinay"s end and Conor McDonagh lifted one into the top corner of the net with Daryl Ait- chison assisting. On the same shift, McDonagh passed the puck out from behind the net to Richard Welke who scored with Aitchison picking _up his se- cond assist. Mildmay was able to score in the second period but Lucknow came back in the third when Aitchison put his shot between the Mildmay's goalies' legs with McDonagh assisting. Mildmay scored again with less then five minutes remaining and although they pulled their goalie in the last minute, Lucknow's defense held strong and the final score was Lucknow 3, Mildmay 2. Lucknow .travelled 4o Mildmay Satur- day morning for the second game of the series.
