Lancers win
and lose
The Lucknow Dancers managed just
one win over the weekend as they held
on for a victorious 11- 7 score over Lions
Head on Sunday, while losing 5 - 2 to
Kincardine on Friday night.
In Kincardine the Lancers were holding
their own after two periods of play with
the score tied of two, 'but the Kings
scored three unanswered goals in the
third to take the win.
Pat Murray and Steve Simpson scored
for the Lancers while Dean Lindsay
handled duties in the net.
Sunday night's shoot out ' in the
Lucknow corral saw the Lancers take an
11 - 7 win over Lion's Head. Grant
Gilchrist lead the attack as he, came out
with both guns blaming to score four
times for the Lancers. This made room
for Scott Hackett as he moved in with,
the heavy artillery and picked up the hat
trick while snipers Mike Whitcroft,
Wayne Phillips and Steve Simpson 'added
the other Lancer goals.
The Lancers have two home games
coming up as Dundalk comes to Lucknow
Friday for an 8:30 start while Wiarton
visits Sunday night for a 7:30 start.

'The Luckno SkatingQub a achieve-
ment night will be held Saturday, March
17, in the evening. The club opted for an
achievemea night rather than a carnival
again this year, as many of (Mar senior
skaters are presently quite involved with
