46. In Memoriam
1
REID
In loving memory of our dear brother,
Milvert, who passed away November 25,
1985.
In memory's garden where the gentle
breezes blow,
Lies the one we loved so dearly that we lost
two years ago.
Time goes on without changes, joy and sor-
rows, smiles and tears,
But his memory will be cherished, with the
passing of the years.
Lovingly remembered by his sisters, Lor-
na, Doris, Ruby and Evelyn. -48
REID
In loving memory of a dear father and
grandfather, Milvert Jarvis Reid, who
passed away on November 25, 1985.
A heart of gold stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts -to prove to us
He only takes the best.
The leaves and flowers may wither
The golden sun may set
But the hearts that loved him dearly
Are the ones who won't forget.
Always remembered and sadly missed by
Lloyd, Phyllis, Paul and Joey. -48

Lucknow Sentinel, Wednesday, December 2, 1987—Page 17
November, 1987, Toronto, Ontario:
Proctor -Silex Canada Inc. has announced
it is voluntarily recalling certain drip cof-
feemakers made prior to April, 1986,
because they represent a potential fire or
shock hazard.
The coffeemakers involved are Model
A566W Series G3758 and Model A567W
Series D4258 and Series D1068. The model
and series numbers are stamped on the
bottom of the appliance.
The potential hazard was discovered by
Proctor -Silex. It results from a defect in a
component part of the coffeemaker, sup-
plied by another company. These units
were manufactured during three one week
production runs in the months of
September and October of 1985 and March
1986.
The coffeemakers subject to the volun-
tary recall are no longer being manufac-
tured, nor are they available in retail
stores.
In the interest of safety, the manufac-
turer requests that owners of Proctor -Silex
coffeemakers carrying the above model
and series numbers discontinue their use
and return them by mail, as soon as possi-
ble. The unit should be packed carefully.
Include a label with your name and mail-
ing address in block print. Send to:
Proctor -Silex Canada Inc.
Dept. No. 514
P.O. Box 1630
Picton, Ontario KOK 2T0
(613) 476-2191
The coffeemaker will be reworked and.
returned at no charge. Reworked units can
be identified by the addition of the letter
"R" and three additional character adja-
cent to the ,"Series" code.
The glass carafes and accessories
should not be returned.

together. Parents shower their children

and games. According to Statistics
Canada, parents spent a little more

department stores in December 1985,
compared with some $91 million in
December 1984, for an. increase Of ap-
