Congratulations to Francis and Irene Boyle for a successful "Day Apart" on Saturday. Guest speaker was Rev. Bernie Warren. A good turnout was entertained at the Kinloss United Church with an evening of worship and inspiring music put on by the U.C.W. ladies and the Glammis Community Choir. Music assembly BY MANDY FARRELL On Friday, Nov. 27, the Ripley District School student body enjoyed a concert per- formed by both vocal and instrumental groups from Kincardine District Secondary School. The concert included performances by the Knights of Jazz, the Vocal Ensemble, The Senior Concert Band and two new groups, Night Shift and Dixieland. The Vocal Ensemble delighted their audience by singing the original "Old MacDonald" with Latin lyrics. The Senior Concert Band also played a variety of numbers. Nightshift performed "Against All Odds," and Dixieland also performed their version of a Southern tune. All the different groups performed fan- tastically and students hope to see more Ripley students up there entertaining next year.
