John Robert Orr
John `Robert' Orr of Kinloss Township
passed away at the Wingham and District
Hospital on September 16, 1987. He was 72.
Mr. Orr was born in Kinloss Township on
January 10, 1915 to parents William Orr
and Abilene Jeffrey and spent a life farm-
ing on the 6th Concession there. He was a
veteran of Wolrd War II and an active
member of the Chalmers Presbyterian
Church, Whitechurch.
He is survived by brothers and sisters
James of London; Alex of Quebec; Ken-
neth of Vancouver; Bruce and Richard of
Teeswater; Mary, Mrs. Oswald Rudi,
Hyde Park; Jessie, Mrs. William Lapp,
and Isabell, Mrs. Elson Arnold of Bervie.Y
John Robert Orr is predeceased by his
parents and two sisters, Jean, Mrs. John
Currie, and Tena, Mrs. Harold Percy.
Rev. George Bell officiated the funeral
service held at the Chalmers Presbyterian
Church on Friday, September 18 with
Mackenzie and McCreath Funeral Home
as directors.
Interment at the Langside Cemetery.
Dorothy Mae Atkinson
Dorothy Mae (Loree) Atkinson of
Lucknow passed away at the age of 68
years on Thursday, September 17, 1987 at
St. Joseph's Hospital, London.
Dorothy Mae was born to Ernest Lorree
and Gladys Henderson on October 14, 1918
in West Garafraxa Township. She worked
as a bookkeeper at the Co-op and was an
active member of the Lucknow United
Church. She is survived by her husband,
Mr. Glen Wilbert Atkinson of Lucknow,
and a son, Wayne and wife Carol, also of
Lucknow. She is also survived by brothers
and sisters Frank of Balzac, Alberta; Jim
of Belwood; Blair of Justice,. Manitoba;
William of Kincardine; and Florence, Mrs.
Russell Irvin of Ancaster as well as four
grandchildren, David, Steven, Ken and
Debbie.
Rev. Albert Cook officiated the funeral
service held Sunday, September 20 at the
Lucknow United Church. Interment at
McKee's Cemetery, Fergus.
ARNOLD-Susan and Brian Arnold wish to
announce the safe arrival of the daughter,
Brianne Marie, born September 15, 1987 at
Victoria Hospital, London. She weighed in.
at 7 lbs, 4 ozs at birth. Proud grandparents
are Marie and Guy Kronstal, Ancaster and
Lorraine and Walter Arnold of Lucknow.
Great grandparents are Vi and Jim Ar-
nold, Lucknow; Jeanne Kronstal, Mon-

treal; and Angele and Reme Ceneca of
Deloraine. Great, great grandmother is
Evelyne Arnold, also of Deloraine.
SAHLI-Marc and Jean Sahli are pleased to
announce the birth of their daughter on
September 18, 1987 at the Metropolitan
Hospital, Windsor. She is a wee sister for
Brian and a grand daughter for Mr. and
Mrs. Eric Sable of Windsor and Hugh and
Mary Simpson of Whitechurch.

VanOsch were t iced - in . marriage on
Saturday, August 22, 1987 at St. Joseph's
Catholic Church, Kingsbridge. The
celebrant was Father • Ed. Dentinger.
The organist for the ceremony was Mrs.
Marrianne Hogan of Kingsbridge while
Mrs. Betty Cox of Clinton was the soloist.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. John Forster of Lucknow. The groom
is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph VanOsch
of RR3 Lucknow.
The bride's maid of honor was Helen
Maclntyre, Lucknow, a friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids included Glenyce McClin-
chey, Auburn, `cousin of the bride and
Brenda and Agnes VanOsch, RR3
Lucknow, sisters of the groom.
Flowergirls were Lindsey Raymond,
Lucknow and Julie McCullough,,,
Homesville.
The groom's best man was Casey Hen-
driks, RR7 Lucknow, friend of the groom.
Ushers included John VanOsch, brother of
the groom; Gary Forster, brother of the
bride and Jim VanOsch, cousin of the
groom.
Dinner and reception was held at the
Lucknow Communcity Hall..
Following their honeymoon to the
Poconos, Pennsylvania, Mr. and Mrs.
Perry VanOsch are residing at RR3
Lucknow.
