Theawards are presented yearly to those who meet certain criteria and are given in rec nition of progressive management, modern sales and service facilities, sound mer andising practices, high quality stan- dards and continuing interest in rendering superior service to owners of Ford products. They also visited with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stockhill at Kid Creek Mines in South Por- cupine. Steve Hamilton has a summer job at Kid Creek Mines. We express our deepest sympathy to a number of local families who lost a loved one in the last few weeks. Sympathy to Gerry VanderKlippe and family in the loss of a dear wife and mother Jennigje VanderKlippe; the Johnstone family in the losss of a dear father and grandfather Peter Johnston; and the Mewhinney fami- ly in the loss of a dear mother and grandmother. John and Donna Carter attended the baptism of their grandson Craig James at the Walkerton Presbyterian Church on LUCKNOW off Mother's Day, April 10. They enjoyed a lovely lunch at the home of David and Lin- da Carter following the service. Reg and Pat Broome of Belfast were in Teeswater last week to visit with Reg's sister. They also received a phone call visit from son Jack and family at Calgary recently. Visitors on Mother's Day with Reg and Freda Broome were Ken and Mary Scheerer and family of Goderich and Tom and Rose Broome and family of Lucknow.
