Mrs. Bert Nicholson underwent surgery
at University Hospital in London on Mon-
day. We send our get -well wishes, Eva.
She'll be returning home on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Lane and Mrs. Frank
Maulden visited on Wednesday with Mrs.
Madeline Edward of Goderich.
Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Stanley of Lucknow
were dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Mid -
ford Wall. They also called on Mrs. Frank
Brown at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Reg
Brown.
The Anglican Church Women met on
Wednesday afternoon at the home of Edna
and May Boyle. The president, Mrs. Roy
Collins welcomed everyone and opened the
meeting with a poem and the scripture
reading.
Love was the theme of the meeting and
all 11 members had a scripture verse with
the word love. The love of Christ was the
opening hymn tollowd by a prayer tithe
and the Lord's Prayer was repeated in
unison.
Mrs. Ronald Thacker read the minutes
and correspondence. A thank -you letter
was received from St. Monica House in
Waterloo for a generous donation sent to
help troubled girls there. The World Day of
Prayer with the service for the area being
held at the Kinlough Presbyterian Church
on March 6 at 2 p.m. The business was then
dealt with.
.Mrs. Midford Wall, Mrs. Louisa
Scheller, Mrs. Eric Thacker, Mrs. Kay
Thacker and Mrs. David Haldenby all had
lovely Love parts in the progra. The presi-
dent gve the meditation from the Living
Message and prayer. Mrs. Agnes Hodgins
gave a meditation from Footprints in the
Sand. May boyle gave a meditation on
Love and it being so close to St. Valentines
surgery

Day, gave her own original story of a little
girl who changed and blessed Valentine's
life. Miss Edna Boyle led in a hymn sing of
love.
Prayer closed the meeting and all en-
joyed a time of fellowship with Maureen
and Irlma were the lunch convenors. The
Grace was sung and Maureen had a quiz
while everyone sat around the table.
Mr. and Mrs. Mel King of Georgetown
spent the weekend with her parents Mr.
and Mrs. Bert Nicholson and Lois of
Kincardine.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom McDonald visited on
Thursday with Mrs. Mary Stewart at
Princess Court, Kincardine.
