Visiting with Rhetta and Marion
MacLennan on the weekend was Florence
MacLennan and her friend Shirley of
Kitchener.
Barry, Betty and Sharlene Jones were in
London on Wednesday. They spent `much
of the day with Sherry and also visited in
Thorndale with Barry's sister and brother-
in-law, Jim and Lenore McGill.
Ewen and Marj MacLean had Marj's
brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Williamson of Wyoming, Ontario, visit
with them recently.
Jim and Cecil Webster of Waterloo who
are now off work for a week ( hopefully not
any longer) came home on the weekend
with their mother, Kae Webster. Kae's
son-in-law, Atlee Wise of Richfield, Ohio
came up with his snowmobile on Thurs-
day. On Friday, Atlee went out for a ride
by himself. He went north to Underwood in
just over two hours.
On Saturday Jim, Cecil and Atlee went
over to Canadian Tire in Wingham on their
snowmobiles to shop. But as luck would
have it, Atlee's sled decided to kick up, so
on Sunday, he went back to Richfield, tak-
ing Jim along with him for a couple of days
visit. They will be back again on the
weekend for more fun in the snow.
On Saturday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Gor-
don Robb were in Listowel to attend the
wedding reception of Mrs. Robb's nephew.
On Sunday they went up to Chesley to see
their daughter and family, Bob and Sandra
Darling. The Darlings had recently moved
from Hanover to Chesley.
Kae and Cecil Webster were in Clinton
on Sunday to join in a birthday party for
Jack Smith and also visited in Goderich
with Norma Young.

The rollcall "A way our ancestors

memories of the sayings of our grand-

which still are true today.
Isabel Gaunt,the convenor of Education
and Cultural Activities,, introduced her

Another special guest was Lois Elliott,
the district president, who reminded us of
the 90th Anniversary of the WI to be held in
JuIy'at North Bay. She gave five tips to im-
prove learning and coping with change and
urged us to take advantage of workshops
and re -read articles for further understan-

about the new office of program co-
ordinator which replaces the convenors of
four standing committees and asked us to
be positive and enthusiastic about the new
program.
Muriel Moffat read the minutes of the
last meeting and gave the treasurer's
report.
A committee was named to plan for the
annual Sunshine Sisters' Banquet which
will be the 25th Anniversary.
It was decided to give a donation -to the
Heart Foundation rather than conduct a
canvass in the area.
The meeting closed with the singing of 0
