(Alan Rivett photo) Maitland Presbytery meets in Wingham By Marjorie Wall Mrs. Evan Keith, President of the Maitland Presbyterial and Women's Mis- sionary Societies, presided for their an: nual meeting on January 19 at the St. An- drew's Presbyterian church in Wingham. The morning session included a welcome by Mrs. Gordon Wall of Wingham, reports of the various secretaries were adopted, and greetings were brought froin Presbytery by Rev. Fred Neill of Walker- ton, the Moderator. The new Aim and Purpose was repeated in unison. - The afternoon session included a film to introduce the new study on Southest Asia. Devotions were given by. Molesworth Evening group on the theme, "We cannot reach new horizons if we fear to leave the shore." An increase of 3.33 per cent of the alloca- tion for 1986 was accepted. Mrs. Joan McKay of Ripley gave the report of the Nominating Committee and the 1987 of- ficers were installed by Mrs. Ross Cumm- ing of Lucknow.
