Visitors during the week with Edna and May Boyle were Mr. and Mrs. John Scott of Ripley, Mrs. Pearl Lloyd and Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lloyd of London. Mrs. Christensen (Si .) and Mrs. Vivian Parkinson of London visited with pastor and Mrs. M. Christensen on Saturday. Mrs. Arthur Philips, who spent the past two weeks with her sister Mrs. Frank Maulden, returned home with Arthur to Fonthill on Sunday. Mr. Murray Gaunt of Wingham con- ducted the service at the Presbyterian Church here on Sunday followed by a time by May Boyle of food and fellowship. The Pentecostal Congregation held their annual church meeting last Wednesday evening. The Anglican Service on Sunday February 1 was held at 4 p.m. followed by a congregational supper and annual Vestry meeting. Rev. Merelyn Letson was in charge of all. We are sorry that Jim Haldenby had to undergo surgery in St. Joseph's Hospital in London. We send our get -well wishes, Jim.
