Mr. and Mrs. John Gibbings, Michael
and.Ashley of Clinton and Kervin and Deb-
bie Rourke of Goderich visited their
parents, Gord and Mary Schultz on Satur-
day.
Gary and Patti Johnston of Goderich
were dinner guest with Tim and Wanda
Hodges on Sunday. The two girls both
celebrate January birthdays.
Congratulations to Elmer and Gail Cook
and James and Claire Cook who
celebrated wedding anniversaries this
past week.

Robbie Woods, 14 -year-old son of Bob
and Brenda Woods, received a severe gash
on his knee on Thursday while toboggan-
ing. It took 27 stitches to close the 9 cm
'wound. He is to have the stitches removed
this week.
Congratulations to Cherianne D'Aoust
on placing third in the elementary class at
the annual figure skating competition day
held in Goderich on January 10.
Sympathy is .extended to the families of
the late Willa Dickson who died at her
residence in St. Catherines- on' Monday,
January 12 in her 83rd year. Miss Dickson
had been a registered nurse andserved in
various senior nursing positions before her
retirement.
On Friday, Steve and Debbie Park, Hol-
ly and Amber and Mike and Val Bendig,
Joel and Katie, iy of Goderich, visited
with their parents, Bill and Marie Park
and grandmother, Gertrude Park.
'There were 16 tables of euchre at the
Seniors' Centre on Wednesday evening.
High lady was Jean Errington with the low
ladies' score going to Barb Pollock. The
high man was Wilbur Brown while the low
score went to George Errington. The
mystery prize was won by Cecil Pollock.
The ladies made turkey pies 09 Wednes-
day afternoon and were comps teey sold
out. They, plan to make pies again on
February 11. -
Supper guests on Sunday with Hugh and
Walletta McWhinney were Bob and Sandy
McWhinney, Rob and Tara of Kincardine
Ken and Lexie Murch, Stacey and Vincent
of Clinton and James and Claire Cook,
Trevor and Tracy of RR 6 Goderich.
Over for supper with Jim and Sandra
Rivett and family on Sunday were Duane
Rivett and Nancy Carmichael of the
village and Scott and Lisa .Rivett and Ryan
of Shepparton. The Rivett family has been
over to visit Mrs. Lily Rivett at Clinton
hospital on the weekend. She was
hospitalized with a leg injury after a fall at
her Clinton home last week.

Congratulations to Mary Bere on the
birth of her 10th grandchild, Kurt Robert
Austin, born in Renwick, New Zealand on
December 30 to Ruth (nee Bere) and hus-
band Jim Austin of Papua, New Guinea.
Company for two weeks over the festive
holidays with Russ and Jean Phillips were
daughter Rosaline and Herb Barger and
family, Tara, Matthew and Jamie of
Niagara Falls and a niece, Kim Royal of
Portage Le Prairie. Manitoba and Ottawa
where she attends Algonquin College. For
Christmas, everyone enjoyed the day with
Ken and Mary Phillips.
Irvine and Colleen Eedy visited on the
weekend with Bob and Pat Ott and sons
Matthew and Andrew.
There were 17 tables of euchre on
Wednesday evening at the Seniors' Centre.

Cecil Pollock. The mystery prize -winner
was Helen Russell. The winner of the five
free passes to the euchre tournament,
donated by the Dungannon Agricultural
Society, were Isabel Young, George Err-
ington, Maxine Pollock, Ernest Durnin
and Norma Raynard.

Brian. Edward, weighing 9 lbs 10 oz.,
Wednesday, January 7, 1987 at St. Joseph's
Hospital in London. A brother for Heather
and grandson for Mr. and Mrs. Brian
