Friends and relatives from here attend- ed the funeral of the late Charles Hedley at Teeswater on Tuesday afternoon. Sym- pathy is extended to the bereaved. Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Stanley of Lucknow, Larry and Brett Stanley of Kincardine and Mr, and Mrs. Tony Howald of Lucknow were visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Stanley, Cathy and Terry. Relatives here received word of the death of Winnifred Lloyd, wife of Clifford Lloyd of Tonawanda, New York. Clifford was raised at Westford and later went to Tonawanda where he settled down. Fami- ly members include their son Clifford and . his wife Shirley and family of Rochester, N.Y. and another son Peter. A son Paul and a daughter Mary Anne Opera predeceased their mother. William and Arthur Haldenby are step brothers of Clifford. Pastor and Mrs. M. Christensen spent Thursday in London with relatives and Mrs. Christensen (Sr.) is also having a holiday in the city too.
