Women met in the church on Tues-
day, December, 3 for" their annual
Christmaspot luck dinner. Follow-
ing the delicious meal; a carol sing
was enjoyed by all those in attend-
ance. Sandra D'Aoust provided the
musical accompaniment at the

President Gloria Pearson opened
the meeting with two readings,
entitled Contentment and Christmas
means Gladness, which was fol-
lowed by prayer. A humorous, read-
ings was then given by Margaret
Errington.
The minutes of the previous meet-
ing and the Treasurer's report were
given by Jean Errington and: Helen
Dawson, respectively. A motion
was passed to send a donation to
the Lucknow Food Bank. The offer-
ing _ was received and Gloria
Pearson closed the meeting with a
reading entitled New Year Volun-
teer Prayer: T:he:game :of rokinole
was enjoyed following the meeting.

The Lucknow Women's Institute
held their December 10 meeting at
the. Anglican Parish Hall, with Cella
Aitchison, Mary MacGillivray and
Winnie Fisher as the hostesses.
Mrs. MacGillivray played a selec-
tion of Christmas carols as the 17
members and 6 guests gathered for
a turkey dinner.
Readings were given by Mabel
Whitby, Mrs, Aitchison and BErr
nice Johnston.
Noma. Campbell and Grace Gib-
son, with Mrs. MacGillivray at the
piano, led in a sing -along of
familiar carols.
Two contests were.conducted with
Dorothy Brown and Anne Shields as
the winners.
A gift exchange followed to wrap
up the Christmas meeting.

Isaiah, Luke and Mathew. A
