the investigation of a theft which
occurred itt Kincardine, Ontario.
The London Detachment of the
Ontario Provincial Police, Anti-
Rackets Branch, is investigating an
alleged theft of a Police Shoulder
Patch Collection from the
Kincardine Police Service's office
between December 1988 and May
1989. The collection was comprised
of three 1A" particlebooarrds measur-
ing '4' x 4', covered with brown
felt. Each board held between. 80-
100- patches. If the patches have
been removed from the boards, they
should ,have the brown felt on their
backs. -Two of the boards contained
patches for Ontario Police. Forces,
from A to M, for example Alexan-
dria to Marathon. The third board
contained a complete collection of

various U.S. cities.
The collection was last seen in
the basement area of the Kincardine
Police Station adjacent to the prop-
erty room.. The estimated value to
the collection is between $1,500.00
