Kinloss Township honors heroic
dead - About 1500 hundred people
gathered in the Village of Holyrood
last Thursday for the occasion of
the unveiling of a table erected to
the memory of the seventeen young
men from Kinloss Township, who
lives were part of the price paid
that' "Freedom might not perish
from the earth."
The tablet consists of a bronze -
slab about 24 inches by 18inches,
artistically engraved and bearing the
names of the fallen soldiers. It is
not only a memorial to the soldiers
but a testimony to the patriotic zeal,
the energy, the good sense and the
good management of the nliolytood
Branch of the Worneteslnstitute,
which was instrumental in raising
the necessary funds and planning
the whole enterprise;
