Lucknow Fair should be an excft-
ing faux -filled event this year. The
Agricultural Society is pleased fit
present many new and interesting
features for all ages.
Young people and parents will be
happy ti know that we have
engaged a different, bigger and
better midway this year. We hope
that you will find the rides and
games great fun. Cabel Midway
Enterprises will be at the Fair
Grounds Friday evening, all day
Saturday and Sunday from noon
until 5 p.m. Shutdown times, each
day will be determined by the
amount of interest shown.
Also, for the youth of the com-
munity, we have enlarged and
improved Class 36 -Junior Work (18
years and under). There should be
no conflict, this year, between the
Junior Class and the Elementary
School work (class 41).
Another first - High point trophies
and awards for both classes.
Prize money for class 41 (school
work) onlyt will be availablemat the
arena -office from 7 p.m. on Friday.
Students must be accompanied by
an adult to obtain their money. Any
prize money not picked up will be
sent tot the appropriate school.
The Toilet Bowl Races are a go
this year! Groups, organizations,
classes get your teams together,
come out and have a howling good

Another first for the Faire the
Pork Carcass Competition and
Auction on Friday evening of the
fair. Prize money is great for this
event. To sign up - get your porker
to the OPPMB Marketing yard on
Monday, September 16 before 10
a.m. Rules areposted at the yard
and in the 1991 Prize List, Help us
make this an exciting addition to
the fair.
Friday evening holds many
surprises for young and old alike.
Entertainment by Huron Strings and
local entertainers. For the first time
we are offering a "Group Arts and
Crafts Display" area this year.

room" size or larger - here is a

Sunday Horse Show. Because of
area restrictions, we have decided
to hold the Saddle Horse Show over

NOM Club. It might be a good idea
bring your lawn chair.
There are several new sections in
the Homecraft division. They are
marked by an asterisk*. Of special
interest a Needlecraft Special for
gentleman only - any kind of
needlework. We hear that there are
many fine craftsmen in the area
whose work needs to be shown off.
Gentlemen, don't be shy!
We are happy this year, to pro-
vide a room for mothers and babies.
This will be in the arena.
