It's rViy Party was basically

.take, to ensure no one drives
home under.the influence of
drugs_ and/or alcohol. We coni
sidered;the possibility of hosting
a 'non-alcohol/drug:free party.
Another issue of concent
which- we looked at was the.
consequcnccsof*host drinking.
At this stage in our lives, we
felt this session was very helpful
and i well chosen topic.
Depression
An increasing problem in our
society 'is•teen suicide. This issue
was explored through the session
;on " pression.' (, The session
identified ., the sources and
symptoms of depression, which
ma lead to teen :suicide and
how• to resolve the tension.
Date Rape
`.The largest session this year at
the conference was "Date Rape."
It is becoming increasingly im-
portant to gain morq,knowledge
on this issue, since episodes of
date rape . are increasing every
year. Date rape has become a
major concern of young adults
as well .as their parents.
This issues surrounding the
topic of date rape were dis-
cussed, as well as the rights and
responsibilities of both parties.
The legal, social and
psychological implications . of
date rape were- also .examined
thoroughly.

ways to ideaitify and resolve
potential problems. We were
shown a video clip of a date
rape, which we found to be very
dist, rbing,
