The groom is the son of John
and Jean VanRooy, R. R. N 3,

Organist, Anne Pritchard,
accompanied soloists Larry
MacPherson who sang "The
Wedding, . Song" and "Love.
Divine" and Diane VanRooy
who sang"Hail Mary".
The bride, given inmar-
riage by her parents, chose a
gown of silk chiffon, featur-
ing a
eatur-inga high neckline and sheer
yoke re -embroidered with
lace wind seed pearls in a
cameo design. Similar lace
was used on the cuffs and
appliques on the long sheer
window pane sleeves. The
full skirt extended to a cath-
edral train and her finger-
tip veil was held in place by a
Juliet cap of lace and pearls.
The bride carried ' a cas-
cade bouquet of silk peach
and rust roses and baby's
breath trimmed with brown
ribbon., The bouquets were
designed and made by Fran
Elphick and Marg MacLean.

Lucknow, was maid of hon-
our. She wot+ea floor length
gown of rust jersey with
spaghetti straps and' match-
ing .chiffon jacket with a high
neck , and long full sheer

London, sister of the groom,
assisted as bridesmaids.
They were gowned the same
as the maid of honour and
carried similar bouquets,
Angela Reaburn, Inger-
soll, niece of the groom, was
flower girl. She wore a rust
lace pinafore over a floor
length white dress. Her
nosegay was a miniature
version of the bridesmaids.
Henry VanRooy of Clinton,
brother of the groom, was
the groomsman and guests
were ushered by Barry El-
phick,brother of the bride,
and Paul VanRooy, brother
of the groom.
Lee Drennan, acting as
ringbearer,, escorted the
flower ` girl down the aisle.
They made a charming little
couple.
The bride's mother wore a
taupe crepe dress accented
with a tangerine rose corsage
and the. groom's mother
chose a purple crepe dress
accented . with a pale yellow
rose corsage:
A dinner and reception
followed at ' the Lucknow
Community Centre which
was also decorated in aut-
umn colours.
For travelling to Ottawa
and Montreal, the bride
changed to a brown tweed
suit with rust accessories and
a cream coloured corsage.
Accenting her outfit was a
gold' locket, a wedding gift
from the groom.
Joe and .Lynn are now
residing at R. R, # 1.
Holyrood.
