Mrs. Kad Boyle
Mrs. Karl Boyle, the form-
er Mary Evelyn Elliott, pas-
sed away after a lengthy
illness in St. Joseph's ' Hos-
pital, London on Tuesday,
November 2 in her 72 . year.
Dear mother of Marilyn
(Mrs. Brendan Donahue) and
.two., grandsons Robert and
Jeffrey and Carol (Mrs. Jim
Allan).
The remains rested at the
Logait=Furtney Funeral
Home, 371 Dundas Street,
where the funeral was held in
the . Chapel at 11 a.m. on
Thursday, conducted by Can-
on H. Peach -and her brother-
in-law, Bishop William A.
Townshend.
Interment was in the fam-
ily plot Greenhill Cemetery,
Lucknow.
Mary was well known
locally as she and Karl
farmed on concession 10 of
Kinloss Township after their
marriage, for a number of
years before moving to Lon-
don.
She was a faithful member
of the St. Lukes Anglican
Church on Richmond Street.
A person of a ?kindly per-
sonality
she made a home
where there was always a
welcome.
The beautiful `floral tribut-
es and many donations to the
Cancer Society bespoke their
love of her and of sympathy
to her family. Mrs. Pearl
Lloyd is a sister-in-law.
Besides her sisters and
brother and their families in
London, relatives were pres-
ent from Burlington. Owen
Sound, Bayfield, Walkerton.
Goderich, Ripley, Lucknow
and Kinlough.
William R. MacKenzie
William R. "Bill" Mac-
Kenzie of Dundas, died at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton
following a short illness, on
Tuesday, November 2, 1982.
Born in Lucknow, he was a
son of the late. William and
Elizabeth Ida (Howe) Mac-
Kenzie and had resided in
Dundas since 1940.
Mr. MacKenzie had form-
erly been employed with
John Bertram Sons Ltd. in
Dundas prior to his employ-
ment with International Har
vester Co., Hamilton, where
he worked for 24 years,
having retired as inspector in
May, 1982-
He was a long time
member and elder of Knox
Presbyterian Church, Dun-
das„ and a Past Noble Grand
of Valley City Lodge #117
1.O.O.F.. Dundas, who held
a Memorial Service at the
Funeral Home on Wednes-
day evening.
Surviving besides his wife:
the former Margaret. Jean
Mickus, are three daughters.
Barbara (Mrs. Donald Mc-
Kay), Burlington; Peggy
(Mrs. Bill Lidstone). Mary
Land one son. William, all of
Toronto.
Predeceased by two broth-
ers. Kenneth and Hugh. he
is survived by two brothers.
Alexander and Donald, both
of Hamilton and three sis-
ters, Mrs. Mary Sheane , of
Kincardine. Mrs. Jean Mc-
Quillin of Hamilton and Mrs.
Betty Finlayson of Lucknow.
The funeral was held Fri-
day afternoon at the Cattel &
Eaton Funeral Home. 53
Main Street, Dundas. with
the Reverend Walter R.
Miura D.D., assisted by the
Reverend T. Meiirille Bailey
of Knox Presbyterian Church
officiating.
The internment took place
in Grove Cemetery, Dundas.
