REED William • ,D, Reed of Goderich,died in Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich on Friday, October 22 at the age of 67. . He was born hi Ashfield Township on May 25, 1915 to W.G.' and Deborah (Web- ster) Reed. He was retiredas a sheet metal worker at Champion Road Machinery Company in Goderich. During World War II, he served four years in the Canadian Army. He was a member of the° Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 arid North Street United Church, Goderich. He is survived by his wife,. the former Florence M. Lawlor; two daughters, Mrs. William (Patricia) Thomson. and Mrs. Kenneth (Lynda) McNee, both of Dungannon; his father, W.G., Reed of; Lucknow; three sisters, Mrs. Archie (Birdie) Nicholson of Lucknow, Mrs. Benson . (Jeanne) Brown of Ashfield Township and Mrs. Ford (Eunice) Cunningham of Lucknow; two brothers, Dick of Hazel Park, Michigan and Howard of Windsor; and seven gran- dchildren. He waspredeceased by one brother Harold and his mother. A'funeral service was held at McCallum Funeral Home in Goderich on Monday, October 25 at 2 p.m.. The Reverend Robert U. Ball officiated. Royal Canadian Legion Branch 109 held, a memorial service at the funeral 'home. Sunday evening, October 24. Interment was in Greenhill Cemetery; Lucknow.
