Sunday sp-hooters Mile money in 'bike liagthorts..

Approximately 25 riders
were entered in the 10
kilometre bike -a -thou on
Sunday at Nile to raise
money for Sunday School
Supplies. Paula Vanderburg
raised the most money for
the girls and Steven Stothers
raised the most for the boys.
Door prizes were won by
Judy Kerr and Marlene
McDonald. Holly Park was
the youngest participant
while Ann Feagan was the
oldest rider.
Mrs. Robert Irvin and Mr.
and Mrs. Percy Blundell of
Goderich visited with Mr.
and Mrs. Fred Stirling,
Harold and Darlene at
Thamesvffie on Sunday.
Sympathy is extended to
the family of the late Elmer
Debold who died on Satur-
day, October 9 at the age of
35. Fimeral services were
held on Tuesday, October 12
from the Stiles Funeral
Home, Goderich with inter-
ment in Ball's Cemetery,
Auburn.

worker from the Grey -Bruce
Crisis Cadre in Owen Sound.

girl, raised over 138.00. The
25 or so riders raised $376.95
total.

• The monthly meeting of
the Dungannon Seniors was
held on Wednesday, October
6 at 7:30 p.m. with president
Ted Bowers presiding.
Secretary Evelyn Err-

the September meethig.
It was decided to hold
euchres every two weeks
rather than weekly with the
lady members to bring lun-
ch.
A discussion on the hall
rental was held with many
pros and cons on the issue. It
was also decided to have the
ThriftShoppe open only one
day a week &aim the winter
months from 1:30 to 4 p.m. •4

euchre played at the seniors
card party on Wednesday
evening. High man was

sight when a child of six
years of age. She was a blind
teacher at Brampton for a
