The bride is the youngest daughter of James and Mary Boyle of Lucknow, and the groom's father is Mr. John. • Askes Sr., of Wingham. The ceremony was con ducted by Rev. Warren Mc- Dougall of Lucknow. Approp- riate wedding Musk was rendered by the bride's great uncle, Mr. Douglas Camp- bell •of Kitchener. Misses Lynne and. Kim Hilverda of Kitchener sang. The Wed • ding Prayer before the cere- mony and 0 Perfect Love, during the signing of the register. The bride, given in mar- riage by her parents, chose a floor length gown with chap- el train of white silk chiffon, featuring a high neckline and • small appliqued collar. She wore a cameo which had belonged to her great grand- mother. The bodice was of imported French lace, decor- ated with sequins and pearls. Her headdress was a lace boler style hat with a three. • quarter length veil. She car- ried an arm bouquet of gar- denias, dusty pink roses, stephanotis, with fern and baby's breath. Debbie Lowry of Ripley was maid of honour. She, wore a floor length gown of dusty rose crept de chine with a high neckline and narrow tucked bodice. A bur- gundy velvet sash compli- mented • her dress. Miss Diane Gibbons of St. John, New Brunswick, friend of the • bride, along with Mrs. Lor- raine Foxton of Winghatn and Mrs. Linda Plant of Pow- • assan, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids and wore dresses identical to the maid of honour. They carried Honeymoon in Georgian Bay area South Kinloss Presbyter- ian Church in Lucknow, was the setting for the marriage of Brenda Marilyn Cramp and Denver John Louchlan Dickie on Saturday, July 10, 1982. Reverend Alex Mac- Donald of Aurora, a cousin of the groom, officiated at the •ceremony. The groom is the, son of Ira and Elizabeth Dickie of Luck-• t 'now and the bride is the daughter of Emerson and • Phyllis Citimp of Meaford. • Given in marriage' by her fi father, the bride chose to wear a gown of double 1 chiffon with •lace accents. The dress had an open neck- line with tiny scallop\ edging and seed pearls. She wore a narrow brimmed hat with a side curl and short veil at- the back. The bride carriedal bouquet of deep and light ' pink roses. Linda Boyle of Meaford, a cousin of the bride, was maid • of honour. She wore a corn- flower blue taffeta dress with a square neckline and puffed sleeves. The maid of honour • carried a bouquet of light • pink roses, blue carnations • and small white accent flow- ers. The groomsntan was Douglas Dickie of Markdale, brother of the groom. Ushers at the ceremony were Wil- liam and Walter Dickie, also • brothers of the groom. For receiving the guests the mother of the bride chose a short sleeved, gold colour- bouquets of burgundy and, dusty pink roses, white dais- ies, fern and baby's breath. Martin was attended by his brother, John Askes Jr. of Wing11. •His ushers were Mr: Harald -Vander Glass of Ripley, Mr. Hugh • Burgsma of Dungannon and Mr. Bert Askes, his brother, of Wingham. Martin wore an Oxford Grey cutaway tuxedo with striped trousers while his, attendants . wore heather • grey cutaway tudedos with striped grey trousers, Their tuxedos were complimented with boutonnieres of dusty= rose rose buds with baby's breath and fern. The wedding dinner was served in the United Church Parlour in Lucknow, • with a wedding, reception following in the Legion Hall. The mother of the bride greeted guests in a , powder ' blue • chiffon floor -length gown, with a cymbidium orchid. She was assisted by the groom's eldest sister, Mrs. Jennie Bakker of Lucknow, who wore a yellow cocktail length dress with a yellow cymbidium orchid. • Following a wedding trip to British Columbia and Al- berta, the couple are residing on Gough Street in Lucknow. Thegroom is employed by Askes Bros. Construction Limited While the bride is employed by Mr. George J.
