Mrs. Walter Moore was in
London on Tuesday to visit
her mother, Mrs. Moore and
a sister in Victoria Hospital.
Her mother was not in good
health and the sister was
soon going home.

in the hall with hostess Mrs.

ened with president, Mrs.
Agnes Farrier, conducting
the ode, creed and Lord's
Prayer and extending a warm
welcome to all.
The minutes and financial
statement were given by sec-
retary treasurer, Mrs. Russel
McGuire. In the minutes it

was revealed where the late
Mrs. Jean McInnes had be-
queathed $26 to the White-
church W.I. to pay for a Life
Membership certificate. She
also left a note attached to
her will asking that if Mrs.
Agnes. Farrier had the quali-
fications 'for a. life member
that it be given to her on
account of the close relation-
ship she had with her mother
the late, Mrs. Eunice Gilles-
pie. ,
Mrs. Farrier had the quali-
fications. 'So the W.I. be-
stowed the honour on her.
The W.I. purchased the
Branch Life Membership
Badge. This was presented.
to Mrs. Farrier by Mrs. John.
A. Currie 'with 'Mrs. McIn-
nes' daughter, Mrs. Hast-
ings present.
Roll call was your favourite
quilt pattern. It was decided
to have a book case made for
the 22 books:
s. Stephen Tiffin sang the
Boys Song, which he sang at
the Walkerton school music
festival where he won first
prize. His brother, Dean also
won first prize for his song,
Father's- Sea, in his class.
Both were accompanied by
tape recorder.

travelling throughout Alber-

fore returning home.
