bus trip
Although the weather was
very hot and humid 41 per-
sons boarded the bus at 8'
a.m. on Thursday, July 15
for the annual Kairshea bus
trip.
The trip was well planned
by Mrs. Leonard Clarke and
Mrs. Evan Keith.
The first, stop was Elora
where a tour guide gave a
tour of this most interesting
150 year old town. Then they
were off to Milton to see the
Agricultural Museum where
buildings and exhibits are
still being. added. The guide
showed the group through
several buildings and the
wagon ride was , much ap-
preciated as they toured the
grounds.
A brief stop at the
Farmer's Market at the
t.I,10'0-
Stockyards was enough to
encourage folk to go back
another Thursday. Fresh
fruits and vegetables were in
abundance. '
The .last stop was at the
Conestoga Mall where
everyone had the opportuni-
ty to shop and eat . before
4.: boarding thebus for the
return trip to Lucknow, ar-
riving home before 8 p.m.
Visit cousins
Mrs. Glen; Walden and
Mrs.. E. W. Rice of Lucknow
visited with Mrs. Rice's
cousins at Orangeville and
Lakefletd the past week.

After a pot luck supper a
short business meeting was
held chaired by . President
Lou Corignan whb read the
minutes of last year's
meeting. A minute's silence ,
was observed in memory of
Mrs. Edith Collins. A retire-
ment gift was presented to
Jim Burt.
The 1983 executive was
