' Ten Mile Road, Center Line, Michigan oc- curred on Wednesday, April, 14; 1982 at the age of 77... • He was the sonof the. late Mr. Peter Austin of Kings- bridge. His mother was the former Annie. McCann of West Wawanosh, and was Victim of the .flu epidemic in 1919. His father passed away in 1929. The' deceased was a long time and highly.. regarded employee of the Dodge Truck Plant on Mound Road in Warren; Michigan. • He is survived by his wife, the former Josephine Van Maele, to whom he was married in 1929. The couple celebrated their Golden. Wedding anniversary in 1979. Also surviving are two sons, James L. Austin of Phoenix,, Arizona, Donald J. Austin of Warren, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Salva- Albert. J. M. Brown Albert James Milton Brown of Dungannon died at Wingham and .District Hos- pital. on June 30, 1982 following a lengthy. 'illness. • He was 81. - A retired 'farmer, he Was the son of the late 'Charles Brown and the late Selina Harris. He was born in West Wawanosh Township on. February 3, 1901. He is survived by three. sisters, Ethel Cunningham, R. 5 Goderich; lla Bean, Goderich ands` Mabel. Web- ster of Kitchener and two brothers, Wilbur Brown of Lucknow and Arthur Brown of Hamilton. He was . predeceased by a brother, Raymond.' The funeral service was held from the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral ,Home in Lucknow on July. 2, 1982 at 2 p.m.. with Rev. George Garratt of Lucknow• conduct- ing the service. Pallbearers were K. K. Dawson, Ben Mole, Alvin Sherwood, Donald Bean, Frank Pentland and Ford Cunningham. ' Burial followed in. Dungan- non Cemetery. • Donald MacLean Johnstone Donald MacLean (Mac) Johnstone of 617 Sanatorium Road, ;London' died in his 88th year at Victoria Hos- pital, London on ' June 30, 1982. A retired funeral director I and, a member of Victory Masonic °Lodge No. 563 Chatham,he was reeve of the Village of Lucknow from 1927 - 1929. • Hewas born on April 11, 1895 a son of the late William C. and Helen Joh}lstone of Lucknow. He is survived by his wife, the former Pearl Todd and two daughters, Betty, Mrs. Norman Weitzel of London and Helen, ' Mts.. Gordon Liston of Toronto. Three grandsons, Michael, Larry. and Timothy also survive, as well as a niece, Jane Tre- leaven of Lucknow. Funeral services were held from the James A. Harris Funeral Home, Richmond Street at St. James "in London pn Saturday, July 3, 1982' at 10.30 a.m. Burial followed in Greenhill Cemetery, Luck - now. tore Canepa (Rheta) of Phoenix, Arizona and Mrs. James Grobbel (Shirley) of Warren, Michigan; two sis- ters, Mrs. Albert Sutter (Violet) of East Detroit, Michigan and Mrs. Pat Mur- phy (Irene) of Stratford•;. and one brother, Cyril Austin of Kingsbridge, Also many nieces and nephews and grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by two ,broth ers, Frank in 1977,'Vihcent in 1925 and one sister, Mrs. Leo .Corriveau .(formerly Mary Chisholm) of Goderich in 1979. Two brothers, Joseph and Michael died in infancy. •Funeral. Mass took place at St. Clement's Church, Cent- er Line, Michigan on Wed- nesday, April 19th, with in- terment • in , St. .Clement's Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons of deceased. Relatives attending the funeral from . out of town. were: Mr. and Mrs.' Cyril_ Austin, John Austin, and Mrs. Joe Courtney (Teresa Austin) of Kuigsbrid$e and Eldon. Austin of Dungannon. Mr. Roy' Maissonville of La Salle, Mr. Joseph Murphy of Stratford, James Fitzgerald', Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bannon and Mr, and, Mrs, Larry Hilt of Windsor. 'John T. Taylor' John Thompson Taylor, of Kirkwood Apartments, Ayr, Ontario, passed ' away on Wednesday, June 16, 1982 in Cambridge Memorial Hos- pital. He . was in. his 77th year. Beloved husband of Mary L.–Hodgins; dear father of . Eleanor (Mrs. Roger Had- field . of Milton); Carolyn (Mrs. Harry Kitchen of Pet erborough); John W. of Edmonton: 'and Bert of R. R. 4, Cambridge; beloved. brother of Jean S. Taylor of Cambridge; Mary, (Mrs. Doulgas Hoye of British Col- umbia); and James. F. Taylor of Cambridge: Also surviving are 12 loving grandchildren. John spent his entire life in North Dumfries . Township. He ;vasa: farmer, naturalist and 'a hunter. The thousands of trees which he planted, are a living memorial to him for 'years to come.
