The centre is staffed by
one .full time director, Rita
Rice, • two part • time staff
• members, and one, summer
• student, Irene Martin, hired
under the Experience "82.

purpose of the day •centre,

ly people to remain living

The centre operates on :a
three-day .schedule• each
week. An average of 17
• sseniors attend,daily from the
communities of Wingham,
Lucknaw, • Teeswiter, Brus-
sels, Belgrave, Ethel, Blue-
vale, Dungannon, Wroxeter
and the outlying • townships.
' The average age., of day
centre users is 82. •
Referrals come from sever-
al sources: public health bur-
ses, participants at the cen-
'ire, the outreach staff at the
