month. Sherry the daughter
of Wally and Elaine Pollock,
has been employed at the
Queen Street Mental Health
Centre in Toronto for some
time.

Brookside hosts tournament
On Thursday, June 17
Brookside hosted a two pitch
softball tournament. Vict-
oria,, Robertson; Holmesvil-
le, Colborne and Brookside
schools participated in a total
of 32 games..
Junior girls; Brookside and
• Holmesville were tied for top
spot.
Brookside edged Holmes-
ville on counting runs for
minus runs against. Holmes-
ville received the consolation
pennant.
Junior boys: Robertson
• and Colborne were tied for
points.
Robertson had defeated

Colborne •in the game in
which they played together,
thus giving the champion-
ship to Robertson with Col-
borne picking up the conso-
lation. )
Senior girls: Brookside and
Robertson were tied after the
day's competition.
After totalling funs for
• minus runs against, Brook-•
side girls were declared the
• winners while Robertson re-
ceived the consolation.
Senior boys: Robertson
captured the championship
- with a perfect record while
Holmesville edged Brookside
for the consolation.
