The Town and Country Bowling League held their baqquet
at the Anglican Parish Hall on Apra 15 when the Blues
received the 'trophy for the season winners. From the left
ire members' of the team, Mabel Percy, Susan
McNaughton, Agnes Farrier, Vera Purvis, Jean Jardine,
who presented the trophy to captain, Thelma Brown, Art
Harrows, John Roulston and Evelyn Cook.

I spring tea
The April meeting of the
Lucknow. and District Horti-
cultural Society on April 14 at
the Lucknow Legion was well
atten'ded with several mem-
bers being welcomed by the
president, Jean Whitby. I
Rev. G. Garrett reported
that plans for planting the
trees in the village are pro-
ceeding as scheduled.
Mrs. J. Arnold announced
that her committee is meet
ing this week to make final
' plans for the Spring Tea to be
helm May '12 at the Legion
Hall.
Mrs. Aliene Bradley intro-
duced Mrs. Gordon. Finlay
son . who presented a most
interesting talk and demon-
stration on' daffodils' and
other spring flowers.
Mrs. .1. Conley; Mrs. D.
Moffat, Mr. 1 Dickie and Mr:
H. Campbell combined their
talents to play several toe -
tapping number which were
enjoyed by all.
Lunch was served follow-
ing the "Poetic Box" game.
