I Rev. G. Garrett reported that plans for planting the trees in the village are pro- ceeding as scheduled. Mrs. J. Arnold announced that her committee is meet ing this week to make final ' plans for the Spring Tea to be helm May '12 at the Legion Hall. Mrs. Aliene Bradley intro- duced Mrs. Gordon. Finlay son . who presented a most interesting talk and demon- stration on' daffodils' and other spring flowers. Mrs. .1. Conley; Mrs. D. Moffat, Mr. 1 Dickie and Mr: H. Campbell combined their talents to play several toe - tapping number which were enjoyed by all. Lunch was served follow- ing the "Poetic Box" game. which was won by Miss Ada Webster; Lucknow cal f club meets The first meeting of the Lucknow Calf Club for this ° year was held at the Brook- side Public School on Apttil 14. . Barry Elliott is leader for the Dairy Club and Ken Mewhinney is leader for the Beef Club. Officers for the club were elected.
