Seaforth, 'Clinton; Wingham
and Owen .Sound as well as
Goderich competed.

visited her parents, Howard
and Marlene Godfrey. on the

A 'large consignment sale
was held. on, Saturday at the
Brindley' Sales Yards, A real
crowd was in attendance by
the show of vehicles lining
both sides of the road.

the Parents Committee for
the Lucknow Brownies,
Guides, and Pathfinders,
Karen Johnstonemoved and
Marg Wilson seconded a
motion that we pay the-regis-
trationand . mileage for Gail
Cranston and Wendy Gerster.,
attending the area day in
Stratford last fall.
The Paper Drives were
discussed and, due to a lack
of demand for paper to be
recycled,. there will be no
paper drives at this time. It is
hoped that those who have. so
faithfully saved their news-
paper will continue to do so
as it isvery much: appreciat-
ed. The committee hopes
there will be a demand, in the
fall and if so, the drives will
continue.
Plans were made for the
upcoming rummage and
bake sale to be held on
Saturday, May 1 in the store,
formerly Bill's Place with the
proceeds .going to the Brown-
ies, Guides and Pathfinders. °
, Cookie Day this year will
be May 15 with Karen John-
stone .in charge, Eleanor
MacDonald. and Janet Rhody
assisting.
The Parent 'and Daughter
banquet will be held early in
June.

A quilting summary day
was held at the Huron
Township Hall on Thurs.
Apr. 15, Barb De Visscher,

"Grannies : Quilts". Groups
with quilted articles for
display were Ripley -two
groups, Bervie, Kincardine,
Tiverton, Teeswater, Silver
Lake, Purple Grove and
Reids Corners. A good crowd
turned out to view an ex-
cellent
xcellent display of work.

held in Zurich, which he and
