treasurer's report was given
by Mrs. Betty Doherty, The
.proceeds received from the
League's St. Patrick's party

Mother. Theresa's Starvation

fasting every Monday until

and talking with other. Chris-
tians to advance peace.
A short ` presentation,

given, followed by agroup
discussion and answer per-

Dining the business, Mrs.
Delbert Wilson read the min-
utes and • called the roil,

be a good neighbour. Mrs.
Jack Campbell gave the
treasurer's report. Work
groups for crafts and quilting
are being organized in pre.

The hostess, assisted by

Huron cattlemen
plan barbeque
President. Bill Coleman
chaired the meeting of the
Huron Cattlemen's Associa-
ticin held on April 11.
Members enjoyed a roast
beef dinner prior to the
meeting. Secretary , Rose
Marie Bishgs read the min-
utes of the last meeting
which were adopted.

Dance. Mario Sheet reported
on the curling bonspiel and

the . Huron Federation of
Agriculture's' Members of
Parliament dinner held Feb-
ruary 27 in Clinton..
George Adams gave an
interesting report on the
Ontario Agriculture College
directors' meeting,
Plans for a summer tour
were discussed with the
Ottawa area being suggest-
ed. •
A beef barbeque - is plan-
ned in Brusselswith possible
dates being July 21 or
August 11. The Grey -Morris
directors are in charge of this
event.
