could facilitate the earlier start of the hockey
season in Lucknow.
Coaches and managers complained of the
necessity to rent ice out of town to get
practice .time, before the first scheduled
game of the season. Otherwise, they said,
the teams go in cold without practice against
teams which have bad ice for a month.' The
observation was made that Lucknow Arena
could' also rent ice to teams from other towns
such as Teeswater; where the ice cannot go
in until after the fall fair in October.
Bill Hunter requested the assistance of an
equipment manager be responsible for ord-
ering new equipment, repairing' equipment
and keeping an inventory of equipment.
Hunter also requested someone to assist
with the booking of the arena.
The four man committee looking into the
scheduling of B team games will report to
the next meeting of the Association which is
to be held at the. Lucknow Town Hall on April
20. Parents of hockey players are asked to
attend.
