The annual meeting of the
Holyrood Woinen's Institute
was held on. Thursday after-
noon at the home of Mrs.
Harold Smith, beginning
with a dessert luncheon.
The roll call was the pay-
ment of fees and sug$estions
for the 1982-83 programs,
Mrs. Lorne Eadie presided
and Mrs. William MacPher-
son read the minutes of the

in the winter break in the
Teeswater town hall. A good

The monthly.meeting of
the West Huron Junior Far-
mers was held on March 8 at
Brookside Public School.
The Heart -Fund canvass in
Ashfield Township, has been
completed and the club rais-
ed $619.91 for the fund this
year.
On March 15 the group
entertained the residents at
Pinecrest Manor in Lucknow
with a sing song and. square
dancing. •
Kathy Pentland volunteer-
ed to attend the presidents'
workshop in Kitchener April
24 - 25. The club delegates to
the . March conference in
Hamilton are Carol Ritchie,
Larry Henderson and Brenda
Henderson.
A successful card party
was held on March 22 at
Brookside School. Seventeen
tables of euchre and three.
tables of crokinole were in
play. Prizes went to Gl�ria
Pearson; high lady; Isabel
Hunter, law lady; Bruce Ray -

Ritchie, low man and Darryl
