Dungannon neighbours say farewell to Olive Blake

Mrs. Olive Blake received
a pleasant surprise last
Thursday night, when a
party of four from Dungan-
non presented her with a •
mini phono and a. gift of
money, which Olive apprec-
iated very much. Olive has
moved into an apartment in
Lucknow and will be, greatly
missed in. Dungannon and
vicinity.
Mrs. Ken Vodden and
Mrs. Frank Johnston of Lon-
desborough, who are nieces
of Mrs. Graham McNee,
visited with their aunt and
uncle on Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs.; Roy Ashton
of Goderich visited on Sun.
day with their daughter,
(Gail) Mrs. Elmer Cook, Mr.
Cook and Kevin.

Hazel [Proctor] McQulllln
A one time resident ofthis
area, Mrs. Hazel McQuillan,
passed away at . Branson
Hospital, Willowdale, on
March 1, 1982, after a short
illness.
Pastor bon Jast of the.
Peoples Church, Toronto,
conducted ' the service on
March 5 at the Kane Funeral
Home, Willowdale.
Mrs. McQuillin, who was
in her 85th year, was the
widow of the late Constable
Ray A. McQuillin, who was
killed in 1930 in the line of
duty with the Toronto Police
Force, •
Surviving are one daught-
er, June, Mrs. Leo Barrett,
Jamestown, N.Y., a daught
eriin-law, Mrs. Grace Mc-
Quillin, Thornhill; four
grandsons, Robert, David
and Richard Barrett and, Ray
B. McQuillin and twolsisters.
A son, Ray P. McQuillin,
predeceased her suddenly in
1978. She was .also prede-
ceased by her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Wm. Proctor, two
brothers and one sister.

escort to Park Lawn Cemet-
ery, Toronto.
James Earl Gaunt
Death. occurred March 15,
1982, 'of James Earl Gaunt,
at the Alexandra Marine and
General Hospital; Goderich
in his 80th year. •
Earl was the son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. James Gaunt,
born in West Wawanosh
Township.
He leaves. to mourn, his
wife, the former Olive Lyons;
one ;son, Kenneth of Hanov-
er; one daughter, Faye, Mrs.
Harold Dalrymple of Bruce -
field; one 'sister, Mrs. ' Lila
Shickluna, Wingham; one
brother, John, Edmonton,
Alberta; also 11 grandchild-
ren.
He ' was predeceased by
one sister, Verna (Mrs. Ar-
chie. Aitchison), two broth-
ers, Eddie and Andrew.
He was a member Of
Londesboro United "Church
and was an elder for a
number of years. He was a
member . of Hullet Masonic
Lodge, Blyth and a service
was held Wednesday even-
ing at the. Funeral Chapel,
Blyth.
The funeral and. committal
service were held at the
Tasker Memorial, : Chapel,
Blyth, Thursday; March 18
with Rev.. Robert `Scott and
Rev'. Stan McDonald offiat-
ing.
Spring interment at Blyth
Union Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Michael
Gaunt, Randy Gaunt, Rick
Dalrymple • and Murray
Gaunt.

imately 200 persons in at-
