Proud of arthritis program
Canada's arthritis control
program is considered am-
ong the best in the world,
The Arthritis Society says
with justifiable pride. More
hospital beds in Canada are
earmarked for arthritis pat-
ients than in the entire U.S.
Rheumatoid arthritis strikes
almost 2.5 million Canadians
1
and seems to develop in
people who have an inherited
susceptibility to it. The Soci-
ety offers free information
about arthritis and its treat-
ment to the public. Write
