" Outside George Vander Glas of Ripley was in charge of the Snowmobile races. This was nen ;thisyear as last year it ; was a snowmobile rally. George bad themdivided' into two classes according to the size of the machine. For the 340 c.c. and; under class he reports that Garry Lada was first with Ken Thompson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Thompson of Pine River coming second. In the over 340 class the winner was HowardWeiberg. For tobogganing the hills north of, Alan , and Marion McLean's house- were covered with young folks enjoying the rides. For the hay ride scut andback, the tractor, wagon, and •hay bales were supplied by John Gamble and Bary Cliffe was busy from one to three. driving the tractor. Out at the toboggan hills Doug MacDonald, Concession 12 east was the chief supervisor in charge. This was a real fun time.
