Outlaws play in Windsor tournament
Last weekend the Outlaws.
did not play their usual.
Sunday afternoon •game in
Teeswater. Instead the Out-
laws drove to Windsor Friday
night to join 28 other teams
who were "playing in the
Windsor tournament.
The, Outlaws played their
first . game early Satudlay
afternoon against the Bunion
Raiders, The Outlaws started
the game off fast. In the first
minute of the first period,
Anthony Howald received a
pass from . Rick Conley to
score the , first goal of the
game. Tony's early goal
shook up the Raiders and the
Outlaws went on to score
four more goals..
Mike Hackett and Roger
Forsyth gave a two goal
performance. Rick Conley,
and Wayne McDonagh each
had one assist and John -
Beadle assisted on both ' of
Sepoys open playoffs.
The Lucknow Sepoys start-
ed the first round of playoffs
last week.
On Wednesday they trav-
elled to Tara where they
were victorious by ' a 6 2
score. Andy Sheddon, scored
twice with the . other goals
going to Ian . Montgomery,
Paul Hamilton, Kevin Clark
and John Hamilton.
Sunday night Lucknow was
at home to Tara with the
visitors taking the, win. Tara
started the scoring and never
looked back as Lucknow
could not seem to get any-
thing started.
Finally near the end of the
first period David Errington'.
put Lucknow on the board
defeat
Brussels
The Lucknow Senior Fleas
played in Brussels February
10 against former team mate,
Brad Taylor: and came away
with a 2 - 0 win.
Jason Cameron playing his
first game in net for the
Senior Fleas earned the
shutout. ' .
Adrian Rau opened the.
scoring at the 8.55 mark of
the first period stick handling
his way from ' centre ice.
Derek Turner assisted. Just-
in Murray tucked awaythe
win with a goal at the 6.\27
point of the third period.
The boys • played a hard
fought game against Tees -
water at the Lucknow Arena
on Saturday night earning a 3
3 tie.
Lucknow out played their
opponents through most of
the game but couldn't get the
puck past Teeswater's.
goalie. They played catch up
hockey with Adrian Rau
scoring the• tieing goal in the
third period. Justin 'Murray
brought the fie .within. reach,
scoring two goals for the
hometown team.
Lucknow travelled to Mild-
may Monday night to record
a 4 - .1 win with Russell
Sutton playing in net.
Mildmay scored the 'first
goal at the 9.39 mark of the
first period and Justin Mgr -
ray tied it two minutes later.
Inthe third period Luck-
now pulled ahead on goals by
Michael Vandervelde unas-
sisted and Adrian Rau assist-
ed by Michael Vandervelde
and Jason Cameron.

The Outlaws' second game
of the tournament was play-
ed ,Saturday night against
one of the top teams, the
Windsor Voyagers.
The Outlaws opened the
scoring again. but the Voy-
agers tied it up in the middle
of the second period..
The game went into sud-
den death overtime and
despite the fans encourage-
ment for the Outlaws, the
Voyagers .scored first. Luck-
now's only goal was scored
by Roger Forsyth.
