Allan of Kinloss visited with
Marie .. Park while she is
convalescing at home.
Congratulations are ex-

Zehr who were married on
February 6th at..Bizabeth
vilk, :Pennsylvania. Many of
the congregation of Christian
Fellowship Church, where
Dougis minister, attended

On February 3 boys' hock-
ey was postponed. The teams
were the Ninety -Nines and
Bullets. On February 10 the
postponed game was played.
. The Ninety -Nines won 5 - 1
against the Ballets.
Senior grades all, held a
Valentine's Party except
rooms 7 and 12, as well as
the junior grades who held
parties.. Mrs. Farrish's kin-
dergarten lasses had their
parties on February 10 and
11 because Kindergarten
registration was held on Fri-
day, February 12. Thirty
seven `students enrolled.
Brookside: public speaking
contest .will be "held in the
auditorium on. Febniary 19.
_Patents are invited.. Grades 1
to 4, 9.15 to 10.30; Grades 5
to 8, 1.00 to 2.30. Winners
will then compete 'at the
Ripley leads Markdale series
Ripley Intermediates have started off
thefust set of playoffs against Markdale
on the right foot : by winning the first two
games in a 4 out of 7 series.
First game was Friday night . in
'Markdale. John Elliott started the scoring
in the first period from Jim Murray, then
Brent Armstrong from Carl: Stanley to end
the 1st period 2-0- for Ripley. Markdale
startedthe scoring in the second before
Rob Regier got one from Paul Wilkens and
Jim'. Murray to end the period 3-1 for
Ripley:
Markdale got the 1st goal in the .3rd
before Jim Murray gotone. from Brent
Armstrong. Bret Shepley, Markdale then
got their 3rd goal, but Brent Armstrong got
Ripley's final goal from Mike Gallant and
Kevin Harrison.' Markdale got the final
goal in the last 9 seconds to end the game 5-
4 for liipley.Kevin Harrison played net for
the night.

the 3rd from Bill Smith and Dale Arm-
strong then Paul Wilkens unassisted goal
before Markdale got 2 more to end the
game 9-5 for Ripley. Kevin' Harrison
played net for the night.
