During the n xeljew months, we will be
studying a number of alternative plans for
electrical transmission in southwestern
Ontario. The study will look at the alternatives
from many points of view including cost,
wise use of land and effects on the environ-
ment. The goal 'is to determine which
plan is,the_best-choice, for all of usvand
then to submit a recommendation to
government
After a plan is approved, further studies with
publicparticipationand hearings will lead to
• the eventual construction of transmission lines.
