Barbara Anne Pearce,
daughter of Norman and
Marian Pearce of 250 Ridge
Drive, Milton was married
to James William McEwan,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim
McEwan of RR4 °Kincardine
on Saturday, June 6, 1081.
The double ring ceremony
was held at Grace Anglican
Church, Milton at 4:00' p m.
with Rev. Robert Lennox. of
Relating. Robert ArgaU was
the organist.
The bride, given in mar-
riage by her father, wore a-
white, chiffon gown with • a
Queen Anne neckline, and
train, and carried a bouquet
of white roses and daisies.
She .wore a flowered head-
piece with fingertip veil.
The maid of honour was
Jennifer Stinson, along -time
friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Lee Ann
Doyle, Pat Forrest, Louise
Ann' Smyth and Louise
Sweet, all friends. The
flowergirl was Kathleen
Wheelihan, a three-year-old
niece of the bride. All wore
long blue gowns and carried
mixed bouquets.
The groomsman was Peter
Smith, a friend.of the groom.
Ushers were Ken McEwan,
Sandy McEwan, both
brothers, • Bob McEwan,
cousin and Bill Henderson,
friend of the groom.
Thedinner and dance
reception was held at the
Richview Golf and Country
Club with 125 present.
Emcee was Jon Liepens,
friend of the groom. The
toast to the bride was given
by Don Stinson, friend of the
family.
Following a wedding trip
to Bermuda, the couple is
living itr Lethbridge, Alber-
ta. Both the bride and the
groom are graduates of plan -
fling from the university of
Wate%loo and both are
employed as urban and
regional planners in
Lethbridge.
Special notes about the
wedding show the wedding
cake was made by Mr. and
'Mrs. Al Udenbach,
decorated by Mary Price.
Attending the wedding in
Milton was the bridegroom's
grandmother Gladys Arnold
of Ripley. Guests were also
present from Vancouver,
Alberta, Ottawa, Picton and
Kincardine. A telegram of
good wishes was . received
from the bride's relatives in
England.
Prior to the wedding, two
luncheonshowers were held.

A ` buffet dinner and
-miscellaneous shower was
held by Freda Strain. A spice
and recipe shower was given
by the bridesmaids and the
